Bridging the gap between complex engineering and human-centered learning through scenario-based design and high-fidelity video.
The AI Enablement Revolution
I led a diverse team of participants from across IBM's business units to develop a proposal for an agentic AI-driven solution in the 2025 IBM Watsonx Challenge. Our final proposal submission outlined a strategic plan to integrate agentic AI into the IBM sales enablement workflow to improve efficiency and content accuracy. From Monoliths to Microservices
This series of videos explains the business narrative and personas involved in an Application Modernization scenario using IBM WebSphere and Red Hat OpenShift. These videos are part of the course, Transforming Applications with IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition.
Explainer: Why Liberty?
This video is from the course ZA610 Developing Cloud Native Applications with IBM Liberty, and explains why Liberty is an ideal platform for cloud-native application development.

The "Technical Depth" Deep Dive (Docs-as-Code)
"I don't just write about code; I live in the repo."
This course, Deploying Event-Driven Applications with IBM Event Streams, was an "innovation project" that I created, intended as a proof of concept for using GitHub as a delivery platform for e-Learning. I wanted to meet developers where they are and apply the same tools and agile methodologies to the learning development process. The course is no longer active, but this archived repository is available for reference.
Publication
I co-authored an IBM Redbooks publication:
Enabling Mobile Apps with IBM Worklight Application Center (Published on 11 June 2013)
My Philosophy
My background in Psychology means I don't design for 'users'; I design for 'brains'. I look at the data. I don’t just guess about what learners need; I conduct an extensive analysis of my target audience using learner metrics to identify skill gaps and pain points, and I define learning objectives that are tied to business goals.
Check out the Projects section of my LinkedIn profile for descriptions of some of the technical courses I developed.
Fun Stuff
I enjoy shooting and editing live music videos for local bands. This 30-second promo reel shows my ability to handle multi-cam shoots (GoPro HERO and iPhone), high-dynamic-range editing (Final Cut Pro), and emotional pacing. I apply the same pacing and engagement hooks to keep technical learners interested and focused during training.
